WATER SUPPLY DISRUPTION

Dear residents

We regret to inform you that pumps at the James Kleynhans Water Treatment Works are tripping due to the high winds and the interruption to electricity supply.

To mitigate this the Botha’s Hill reservoir will be closed everyday from 2pm to 5am from today, 25 July until Monday, 29 July 2019.

Solutions to rectify the problem are being explored. Residents must please note that during the period when Botha’s Hill is closed areas that are supplied by the Botha’s Hill reservoir will have no water. Residents are urged to continue to use 25l per person per day to a maximum of four people per household.
