NCAME STREET UPGRADE PROGRESS
Local contractors are making good progress on the upgrade of Ncame Street.
The road paving project resumed on 14 November 2022 after the main contractor pulled out of the project. The road infrastructure in Ncame Street was tar, which is currently being resurfaced. The contractor removed the tar and it is currently being replaced with paving blocks.
The project also involves upgrading the storm water system to divert the run-off.
The upgrade of Ncame Street includes the erection of road signs, road markings and sidewalks.
