MAKANA MUNICIPALITY DONATES KEY BOARD TO NOMBULELO SECONDARY SCHOOL

Makana Local Municipality would like to thank local SMMEs who responded very positively when approached by the Executive Mayor Councillor Yandiswa Vara to fund the purchase of a much-needed keyboary for the Nombulelo School Choir.

Makana Local Municipality really appreciates their assistance. Their contribution made the occassion extra special and the school was very excited to recieve the gift. It is through partnerships such as this that we can make a lasting impact in our communities.

To celebrate Nelson Mandela Day the Executive Mayor visited Nombulelo Senior Secondary School, which performed very well in a national choral music competition to donate a keyboard to the choir.

The Nombulelo boys choir emerged runners up in their category at the South African Schools Choral Eisteddfod (SASCE).

The gift was well received by the school. The choir showed their appreciation by performing the song that brought them glory in the competition.
