JAMES KLEYNHANS SCHEDULED SHUTDOWN

Dear residents

Please note that a shutdown at the James Kleynhans Water Treatment Works (JKWTW) is planned for 23 July 2019 for upgrades that are taking place at the plant. The municipality would like to assure residents that every precaution has been taken to minimise interrupted water supply to residents. The shutdown that was initially scheduled to take place on 16 July did not happen. The service provider did not carry through with the work that was anticipated on the day. The work that is being undertaken at JKWTW is to implement phase 2 of the upgrade to JKWTW which will ultimately result in increasing water supply 20 M/L a day.

Resident are urged to use water sparingly.
