⚠️Construction update for Makhanda CBD⚠️
We are greatful for your compliance this we week. You will notice that we have surfaced New Street left lane and it’s parkings mostly up to the Checker’s back entrance.
Due to the anticipated wet weather forecast for Tomorrow 6 September 2021, we will not be surfacing, we will continue with house keeping. You will hear from tomorrow’s update for Tuesday 7 September 2021.
Please continue to drive carefully in New Street as there are barricaded excavations, the road narrows in those sections.
We plead with you motorists to continue driving at maximum speed of 40km/h on our surfaced and unsurfaced roads to avoid unnecessary incidents and accidents.
