RESERVOIR LEVELS LOW DUE TO LOAD SHEDDING
Dear residents
We regret to inform you that our reservoir levels are very low due to load shedding. We have lost on average four hours of pumping per day from the James Kleynhans Water Treatment Works (JKWTW), which has affected all our reservoirs. This will result in low pressure especially in high lying areas.
In addition load shedding has caused the fuses of our transformer to blow. This means that, as from early this morning we could not pump at all from JKWTW, which means all our reservoirs have been affected. The electrician is already on site to attend to this problem. Unfortunately at this stage we cannot say how long it will take to resolve the problem. We will keep residents informed as progress is made. This will unfortunately worsen the shortage of water supply even further.
We are doing everything in our power to restore normal water supply as soon as possible. Please use water sparingly.
