To the community of Makana in terms of the Local Government Municipal Systems Act, Act No. 32 of 2000 and Local Government Finance Management Act No 56 of 2003 that on the 31 March 2026, Makana Local Municipality’s Council meeting held at the council chamber approved the abovementioned documents.
In accordance with the Municipal Systems Act 32 of 2000 and Municipal Finance
Management Act 56 of 2003; Makana Local Municipality’s Council approved the
municipality’s Draft Integrated Development Plan and Draft Budget for 2026/27
MTREF. Furthermore, in accordance with Section 127 of the Municipal Finance Management Act, notice is also given that the Council has approved the Oversight Report and Annual Report for the financial year 2024-25.
In addition to these documents, in line with Section 54(1)(c) of the Municipal Finance Management Act, the Council also approved the adjustments to the Service Delivery and Budget Implementation for the 2025-26 financial year.
Copies of these documents will be available for perusal in the following offices: Administration(City Hall), Hill street Library, Finance department and the IDP office in Knight Street. The same documents can also be viewed on our municipal website www.makana.gov.za
