Makana Local Municipality would like to congratulate Makhanda teen Jayden Brand on his outstanding achievement of being crowned 2nd Prince at the Mr & Miss Elegance Eastern Cape 2026 Grand Finale.
The competition took place on Saturday, 28 March 2026, at the Billy Francis Hall in East London. Jayden represented Makhanda well and the municipality is very proud of his achievement.
Jayden represented Makhanda with excellence, progressing through the Top 4 and Top 3, and eventually received an Appreciation Certificate in recognition of his courage, creativity, and commitment.
His dedication to community upliftment, youth empowerment, and faith continues to inspire the community of Makhanda.
