EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
MERSETA-FUNDED NATIONAL YOUTH SERVICE (NYS) DISTRICT DEVELOPMENT MODEL (DDM) PROJECTS
The Eastern Cape Department of Public Works and Infrastructure (DPWI), through funding received from merSETA, invites unemployed youth residing in the Eastern Cape Province to express their interest in participating in occupational training programmes under the National Youth Service (NYS) District Development Model (DDM) initiative. A total of 50 learners will be recruited and contracted to the NYS programme for 18 months, where 12 months will be for structured theoretical, practical and work place learning. The additional 6 months will be post-training workplace exposure and community service.
