NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
STRAY ANIMALS IMPOUNDED BY MAKANA LOCAL
MUNICIPALITY
Notice is hereby given that stray animals have been impounded at
Fiddlers Green Field, situated in town.
All stockowners are requested to come and claim their livestock. To
collect your livestock, please bring identification and proof of ownership,
such as Identity Document (ID) and branding documents.
Please note that tariffs will be charged per head, Stock Theft will also
issue fines for non-branded animals.
If you fail to collect your livestock by 15h00 today, they will be
transported to the Pounding Facility in Alexandria, and you will need to
collect them from there upon payment of the outstanding pounding fees
of Makana Local Municipality and the Pounding Facility( Ndlambe Local
Municipality) effective from 20 January 2026.
