- Develop and maintain strategic networks of government departments Nationally, Provincially and Locally
- Spokesperson of the Council maintaining extensive positive relationship with Local and National media
- Directing the Strategic Communication: Press Conferences, Media briefings and Breakfast meetings with key stakeholders
- Directing and overseeing mainstreaming of Disability, Youth, Women and HIV and Aids
- Policy formulation on Rural Development, Youth Development, Women Empowerment, Disability Interventions, EPWP and Sport Arts and Culture
- Controlling the Budget and leading Financial Management in both Offices the Executive Mayor and the Office of the Speaker
- Provide leadership in directing intergovernmental relations in promoting single window of coordination
