Services

Formulate and implement strategies aimed and developing and promoting tourism
Formulate and implement strategies aimed at developing and managing heritage
Facilitate the participation of the previously disadvantaged groups in tourism
Promote and capacitate emerging tourism enterprises
Support the functioning of the local tourism organization
Support community based tourism initiatives, events and heritage projects
In partnership with Makana Tourism to Implement tourism promotion programmes
Identify potential tourism projects for incorporation in the municipal IDP and source funding for implementation
Assist in co coordinating training programmes for SMMEs in Tourism
Represent the municipality in domestic and international tourism trade shows.
