IDP/ PMS Unit

PURPOSE: TO SUPPORT, MANAGE AND DIRECT THE DEVELOPMENT AND EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF MAKANA MUNICIPALITY.

FUNCTIONS:

1. Coordinate the development and review of the Integrated Development Plan;

2. Coordinate the development and review of the Performance Management Framework;

3. Coordinate the development the of the Service Delivery and Budget Implementation Plan;

4. Coordinate Sector Plan development and review;

5. Ensure IDP, Budget and SDBIP alignment;

6. Ensure vertical and horizontal alignment of development planning;

7. Ensure monitoring and evaluation of performance, quarterly and annually;

8. Ensure compliance with IDP and PMS relevant legal requirements.
